Tracing back his Thracian Valley roots, Milen has put together this entirely Plovdiv-based and Plovdiv-inspired project featuring some of the best jazz musicians of Bulgaria and the Balkans.

Together with his old friends and comrades-in-arms Dimitar Liolev (alto sax), Nikolay Karageorgiev (guitar), Alexander Lekov (bass) and Nacho Gospodinov (drums), Milen presents a distinctive and spicy funk mixture in which the flavors of American barbecue and Bulgarian spices are very prominent. In short, the Funky Mainas create a tasty music for connoisseurs!
